                       FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Q. Why should I buy compatible  instead of original ink/toner products for my printer?

        A. Users typically save as much as 70% buying compatible instead  buying new cartridge products. These savings grow as
            print volume goes up.

  • Q. Will using a compatible cartridge void my warranty?

        A. No, a compatible cartridge does'nt do anything with your printer's warranty. It's like replacing with a new cartridge.

  • Q. Will a compatible cartridge have the same output as compared with original one?

        A. In lab conditions, the compatible ink and toner products that we use match the original outputs very closely.
In typical conditions you will see little or no difference.

  • Q. Do you use the same ink/toner as the original cartridges?

        A. We use only premium ink and toners from reputable manufacturers in North America, you will find the end result
            comparable.

  • Q. Why aren't your compatible cartridges and toner products Pantone certified?

        A. By matching our print outputs closely, with new ink we do not feel it is necessary to pay hundreds of dollars just to
obtain third party endorsement. These savings are passed on to you through lower prices. Your endorsement
            is what's important.

  • Q. Am I going to lose quality with my compatible cartridge?

        A. Absolutely not! Our premium inks and toners are specially formulated for each individual cartridge. You should not see
a difference in the quality from our products and the OEM products. Our inks and toners are formulated to meet the
specifications of each manufacturer so that quality will not be compromised.

                                                TONER CARTRIDGE CARE

  • Have the toner cartridge rebuilt / refilled as soon as possible.
  • When empty, store your laser cartridge in it's original static free bag and cardboard box.
  • Avoid exposing the cartridge into direct sunlight or any strong source of light. Some parts in the cartridge are light sensitive, and can be damaged when exposed to excessive light.
  • Avoid touching the surface of the OPC (Drum) unit. Any markings will definitely affect the quality of print.
  • To extend the toner's life after the " Low Toner" message appears, remove the cartridge from the printer and gently shake the toner at a 45 degree angle side to side to even out the toner powder.

    NOTE:

  • If your hands or clothes become stained with toner, wash with lukewarm water and soap.
  • For clothes simply shake off outside in open air.
  • Do not wash toner - stained clothes in hot water as the toner will set into a permanent stain. Use cold water only.

TAKING CARE OF YOUR INKJET CARTRIDGE

  • Never let a cartridge run completely out of ink. Your inkjet will burn out if it continues to print out while the supply of ink is out.
  • Have the cartridge refilled as soon as possible. The cartridge cannot be stored for an indefinite period.
  • Inkjet cartridges can be refilled for an average of 5 to as much as 10 times depending on the cartridge condition and make.
  • Do not touch the copper plate and printhead with your fingers.
  • Do not carry or leave the cartridge on the seat or dashboard of vehicles. Heat build up will cause the cartridges to leak.
  • Install your refilled cartridge immediately and print at least 2 pages to settle the ink into the print head nozzles.
  • When lines and or missing dots form on your printed text or graphics, it's time to clean the print head. Use the printer's cleaning cycle to self clean.
